Little Lhamo was born in a mud-and-stone house in a small village in Tibet. By the time he was four, he would be sitting on the throne of the palace as the Dalai Lama (leader) of the country. As he grew into a man, not everyone was happy with him. For his safety, he had to flee. But even from thousands of miles away, he has continued his leadership. Over his long life, he has taught lessons in kindness and peace not only to his own people, but to the world.
